Steven L. Wright

KEIZER - On October 13, 2012, Steven L. Wright, who lived in Keizer, son of Harry and Florene Wright, passed away after a spirited battle with a rare form of bile duct and liver cancer.
Steve was born in Greeley, Colorado on August 11, 1956. After moving to Oregon with his family he grew up around Dallas, OR. He went to Linfield College for two years and WOU for one year in the late 1970's.
He is survived by his parents Harry and Florene Wright, sister Denise Brown and husband Dale, sister Virginia Moses and husband Paul, niece Abigail Moses, nephew Cole Moses, and nephews Garrett Wright and Clayton Wright form deceased brother Russell Wright.
He chose retirement after Weyerhauser closed the sawmill in Dallas in the spring of 2009.
He was a big softball fan and player during his twenties and thirties who went by the nickname "Rhino." In his later years he was an avid BBQ'r.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Keizer Funeral Chapel.
