Shirley Ann Lindberg Wilcox, lovingly known as "Peanut", was born on June 13, 1933 to her parents Earl and Louise Lindberg. Shirley had 2 sisters; Mary Lou and Betty Jean. She graduated Hellgate High School in Missoula, Montana going on to attended 1 year of college before meeting the love of her life Monroe James Wilcox Jr. known to all of us as Jim. They wed on August 28, 1953 in Missoula.
She enjoyed her working years raising her family and taking on various seasonal jobs, her favorite of which was potato picking, known as "Spud Harvest". She had a variety of hobbies including ceramics, reading, and spending time with her family, taking in various Blazer and Seahawk games over the years. We will remember her for her quick wit, caring heart, positive attitude, and her compassionate spirit.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Jim, sister Mary Lou, and grandson Brett.
Surviving Shirley is her son Steve (Alexis) Wilcox, daughter Marcia (Bart) Van Ry, daughter Denise (J Ford) Fine, daughter Cheryl (Phil) Myers, 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
