Ronald Joel Macgeorge

Ronald (Joel) MacGeorge, 73, of Salem, OR passed away on March 12, 2023. Joel grew up in Monterey, CA where he worked in textile art for people all over Monterey and Carmel including some of the most glamorous homes and buildings anywhere. Joel's hobbies and interests were numerous and he could spend hours upon hours telling stories and discussing any subject imaginable. Joel will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Joel is survived by soulmate Rose Anna Wright, 2 brothers, Mark G. MacGeorge, Matthew T. MacGeorge, and 2 sisters, Bonnie Loma, Trudy I. Matteson, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Joel requested a celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of his local family and friends join in celebrating his life. Place, date and time to be announced here shortly, so check back.

A private memorial will be set at a later date for family only.
