Rodney Kramer, 76, of Salem, Oregon passed away on June 5, 2020.
Rodney was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Richard and Eva Kramer in January of 1944 and is a 1963 graduate of Kenwood High School in Essex, Maryland. Following graduation Rodney enlisted in the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam War.
Rodney was an Assistant Pre-School Teacher with Mid-Willamette Valley Community Action Headstart. He loved working with children and was passionate about helping them learn. He was actively involved with the Oregon Basset Hound Rescue. His other interests include genealogy, woodworking and the desire to travel.
Rodney never met a stranger and never had an enemy. He had a positive attitude about life and was an inspiration to all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife Ursula, his son Randy Kramer of Ventura, CA, stepsons David Riley (Moreno Valley, CA) and Sean Riley (Kirkland, WA) and 3 grand-daughters and a grand-son and his sister Barbara and her husband William Markwordt. He was proceeded in death by his father, mother, step-father and both brothers.
