Robert passed away at his home on August 20, 2021. He was born in Lockney, Texas to Hipolito and Felipa Villarreal. He grew up in Texas until he was 6-years old when he moved to Oregon. He spent his youth working with his father who was a Field Manager. By 8th grade he met the love of his life, Leticia. They married in Reno in 1982. By 1985 they had their first child, Veronica, and four years later Victoria was welcomed into the family.
Our beloved dad loved us and our mom so much. He worked hard to give us everything, he wanted the absolute best for his family. He enjoyed taking us camping, fishing, or traveling to visit his friends. He loved sharing childhood memories, such as being the best baseball player or getting the Fastest Pin Award when he wrestled in high school.
For work he followed his passion for cars and spent most of his life working in the autobody industry. He owned a shop for several years, and after closing the business, he spent time with his family watching his grandchildren grow. Recently we had been enjoying taking them for ATV rides when they were visiting.
Robert joins his parents Hipolito and Felipa Villarreal, and his brother Jorge Villarreal. He is survived by his wife, Leticia Rueda Villarreal, two daughters, Veronica Villarreal and Victoria (David) Swearingin, and two grandchildren, Kaden Robert Swearingin and Harper Nichol Swearingin.
Visitation will be held at Keizer Funeral Chapel, 4365 River Rd N, Keizer, OR 97303. Visitation will be held from 2pm – 5 pm on Thursday, August 26, 2021.
