Rex Avery Grabenhorst

SALEM-Rex passed away Oct 15, 2012. He was born and raised in Salem. He married Betty L. Wellman in 1957 and they had three children. Rex was a WWII vet and served in the United States Navy as a sub tender.
He liked to hunt and fish on the Siletz River, the coast, and Eastern Oregon and travel to Quartzite, Arizona.
Rex wanted to be remembered as a happy, loving father. He will be missed by his family and many friends.
Rex is preceded in death by his brother Bill and survived by his sister Bobby Strausbeugh, daughters Evelyn Brown Grabenhorst (Jerry Ditchen), and Donna Grabenhorst (Rich Knight), former spouse Anne Johnson, grandchild Todd Ditchen (Jennifer), and great-grandchildren Tyler, Alexis, and Jason.
At dad's request, no services will be held. Arrangements provided by Keizer Funeral Chapel.
