Phillip Arnold Ginther

Phillip A Ginther was born May 09,1940 in DeLong, Indiana. He graduated high school in Belfast Maine then went on to Ball State University where he graduated with a BS In business. He was a 2nd LT.1 In the Air force stationed in Myrtle Beach ,SC until 1968.He moved his family to Medford, Oregon in 1969 and together with friends started their business Command Helicopters. In 1974 they moved to Salem where his life as a farmer began. He worked for many canneries as well as farmed himself. In 1985 he began working for Oregon Fruit Products where he was employed until the time of his death. He left behind his sister, many children , grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed watching most sports with his family and friends. All that new him experienced his big heart. He will be missed by many but not forgotten. A Private service is arranged for December 1 by Keizer Funeral home.
