Paul L. Herber

Paul Herber, 81 years young, passed away on Friday March 2, 2018 in Salem, OR.  Paul was born in Rawlins WY on August 8, 1936 to Leonard and Agnes Herber.  Paul grew up in Camas, WA and graduated from Camas High School and married his High School sweetheart Phyllis McCoy. He worked at the Camas Paper Mill, and was a volunteer fireman for the Camas Fire Department until he moved his family to Salem Oregon in 1975 to join the family Kentucky Fried Chicken business.He was a proud Papermaker, playing basketball, football and track all thru school and was an avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life. Paul is survived by his wife, Phyllis, his two sons, Mike and Jeff, his brothers, David and Donald, and his 3 grandchildren.   Funeral services will be held at 11am Monday, March 12, 2018 at the Keizer Funeral Chapel 4365 River Rd N Keizer, OR.  Burial and small memorial will follow at 3pm at the Camas Cemetery 630 NE Oak St Camas WA.
