Mavis Lorita Randall passed away Dec 18th 2010 at the age of 79. She was born March 7th, 1931 in McCallister OK to George and Mary Robertson.
Rita and her family moved to the Willamette Valley from Oklahoma after the "Dust Storm" of 1933. They settled in the Willlamette Valley where she lived in Keizer most of her life.
Rita graduated from Salem High School class of 1949 and then married Robert Storm. Together they had 4 children and divorced after 17 years of marriage. She was married to "Bud" Randall until his passing in 1996. She retired from Fred Meyer (Keizer) after 20 + years of employment as a pharmacy assistant. She loved working with the public and became friends with most of her customers.
Rita then met the light of her life and companion Roy Ziebart. He introduced her to the Senior Center where she realized her love of dancing. She was very active, walking every day, helping with Meals on Wheels, TOPS, and meeting her good friends at McDonalds every morning. She was known for telling a good joke and her love of people. Rita cherished her family and adopted the Ziebarts as her family also.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you & whispered come with me. With tearful eyes we unexpectingly saw you pass away. Although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating; God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the BEST.
She is proceeded in death by her 2 brothers George Robertson Jr. and Alton Robertson.
She is survived by Roy Ziebart (Life Partner), Sons: Gary Storm, Salem, Mark Storm (Shelly) Cascade Locks, Bruce Storm, Portland, Daughter: Gail Wilson (Robert) Amity. Sister: Marilene "Marie" Mitchell (Robert), Salem, Brother: Don Robertson (Darlene) Portland. 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
