Mary was called to the Lord on May 10, 2011. She was at home with her husband and children, with the sun shining down on her. She demonstrated incredible strength and determination during her battle with breast cancer. She will be remembered for her joy of life, her devotion to family and friends and her fighting spirit. Mary was an only child born to James & Mildred Russell on September 1, 1944 in Missoula, Montana. Mary and Charles Lee were married on July 9, 1983 in Seattle, Washington and they moved to Oregon in 1985. They had the opportunity to travel to Italy, Japan, the East Coast, California, and New Orleans with a few stops in Reno whenever they felt the urge. They established many family traditions over the years with annual family gatherings during the holidays and trips to Eagle Crest. Some of Mary's favorite activities included Volcano Baseball Games, Golf at Creekside, Stamp Club, & her Pinochle Group. She enjoyed helping others and volunteered for Right To Life, March of Dimes, Relay For Life, Blanchet School, and the Fr. Taafe Foundation. Mary was strong in her faith and active in her parish at St. Edward Catholic Church. Mary loved being a grandma and she was Grandma Mary to every child she met. She enjoyed entertaining guests in her home and has friends near and far who would come for her annual Open House which was always the event of the season. Mary is survived by her loving husband, Charles Lee; her children Dana North (Wendell), Roy Fulwiler (Shonie), Mark Fulwiler & Paul Fulwiler (Lara) and ten grandchildren; Melissa, Ashley, Hannah, Madeline, Sam, Russell, Peyton, Jack, Norma & William. We Will Miss You! A Rosary will be held on Friday, May 13 at 6:30 p.m., and funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 14 at 10 a.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Keizer, Oregon.
