Liz E. Quirky (Marlene Elizabeth Van Ortwick) Born in Rogue River, August 25th, 1958 - Died at Salem Hospital April 21st, 2020 She is survived by her three daughters, Erin, Andria, and Kimberly, as well as her siblings, Chris Hansen and Katherine Davis, and her mother, Ruth Belle Hansen. Liz spent her childhood in Wimer, Oregon, then moved to Salem as a teenager. As an adult, she spent her time being a single mom, home-maker, college student, and volunteered for many years in many capacities at the churches she attended. She is remembered by her children for the long camping, beach, and road trips, as well as forts, teepees, and sandboxes build in the backyard, strong guidance, and a tenacious love - a mother who will be missed. Her friendships were often few, but deep, and she was always there to listen, and uplift spirits - a beloved friend. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, birds, her cats, crystals, and rainbows in the window - reminding her of God's promises. She is being led beside the still waters. Her soul is now restored.Psalm 23:2-3
