Leila Mildred Pearson

Leila Mildred Pearson, 98, of Keizer, Oregon left us on December 26, 2020. She was born in DeSmet, South Dakota, August 15, 1922 daughter of Mildred and Martin Finden. She was third of four siblings. On February 10, 1945, she married Glenn H. Pearson.

Leila graduated from Salem High School in 1940 and attended Oregon College of Education in Monmouth, Oregon. She worked at US Bank in Portland, the Ladd and Bush US Bank in Salem, and Judson Middle School. She is a member of the Keizer Christian Church after moving back to Salem from Florence Oregon.

Leila is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws Thomas and Bonnie Pearson, Ronald and Dixie Pearson, and Jeffrey and Melissa Pearson, grandchildren- Tylor, Justin, Troy and Merran Pearson and great grandchildren- Triston, Ashton, Lucus, Tyson, Aliyah, and Danica.

Leila was preceded in death by her husband Glenn of 58 years, her sister Ruth and brothers, Martin and Jack Finden and her parents Martin and Mildred Finden.

There will be a private graveside service. A Celebration of Life will be held for friends and family in the Summer of 2021.
