Early Saturday morning, the best dad, grandpa, and friend went home to our loving Lord to join his long awaiting wife Margie Ann.
Leaving devoted daughters Deb McDonnell (John) and Melissa Barger McGhehey (Jeff), his "too much loved" granddaughters Cody Beckley, Jessica Pygott, and Megan McGhehey. His mother Mildred, father Ralph, and daughter Laurie preceded him in death.
Born in Eugene, graduated from Junction City High School in 1953, Larry was active in sports and high school rodeo. He was employed as a bread man, sold real estate, and taught his daughters the ways of the world.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, quarter horses and rodeo - all of these he can now do again.
His family extends a heartfelt thank you to Willamette Valley Hospice. At his request there will not be a memorial service - he would appreciate any donations be made to directly to Willamette Valley Hospice or Oregon Fish and Wildlife.
Larry asks that each of you to "hug your family tighter and to think about just how important your children are to you".
Arrangements entrusted to Keizer Funeral Chapel.
