SALEM - Kathryn (Toddy) E. Hebert, age 78, passed away on February 16, 2012, in Salem, OR. Toddy was born and raised in Kansas, the second daughter of Ralph and Elsie Hankins. She married Edmond Hebert in December 1951, and together they raised 6 children throughout his years with the Air Force and many transfers around the country and overseas. After retiring from the Air Force they settled in Oregon. Toddy earned an associate's degree from Chemeketa Community College and enjoyed working for AK&T during tax season for many years. Toddy and her husband Ed enjoyed traveling and visiting family members across the country and abroad in their retirement.
Toddy is survived by her husband of 60 yrs, Ed, their 6 children, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Willamette Valley Hospice or a charity of your own choosing. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the staff of Hawthorne House for their care of Toddy in her last months. A memorial service will be held at Keizer Funeral Chapel, 4365 River Road North, Keizer, OR on Saturday February 25, 2012, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.
