JUNE STEVENS ROBISON
August 25, 1941 - August 16, 2022

June Stevens Robison, almost 81, passed away after a long struggle with health issues on Tuesday August 16, 2022 at the home of her daughter and son in law, Debra A and Russell G Muhlestein in Keizer Oregon.

June was born 25, August 1941 to Charles Alma Stevens and Mary Walker Stevens at St George, Utah.
She was the eighth of 12 children, nine of which were born in the house built by their father in the mid 1930’s.

She grew up and attended school in St George. Her home was located in the red rocks and dusty hills above town very near the “DIXIE ROCK”, also known as the “SUGAR LOAF”.
When she was young June loved stepping out her front door with her siblings and friends to hike and climb around the hot red hills in search of desert critters and other adventures. As a youth she worked as a waitress and she also did babysitting for neighbors children as well as helping to care for her own younger brothers and sisters.

June met and married Vern F Robison in St George in 1958 and they were later sealed in the Manti Utah LDS Temple. They had three sons and one daughter; Curtis, Brent, Debra and Ricky. June and Vern lived in Steamboat Springs CO, Vernal UT and finally settled in Panguitch UT where they worked and raised their family from the early 1960’s until the early 1980’s.

While in Panguitch June developed many friendships & associations. She always appreciated those friends who offered her love, support and kindness.

She enjoyed quiet times as well as activities with family. She was able to take trips to Old Mexico with friends and family trips to Lake Powell, Panguitch Lake, camping, snowmobiling, wood cutting trips, cookouts and picnics. She enjoyed sharing holidays and other bonding times with extended family.

June was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she served in the Relief Society, the Primary and the MIA programs of the church. She also worked at various jobs while raising her family, including work at the Panguitch Sewing plant, and providing child care in her home for multiple families in town, and at Panguitch Elementary school in the Title 9 program.

After her divorce she moved back to St George for a few years, then moved to the Sacramento CA area where she worked at the Rancho Seco Nuclear Power Plant. She eventually returned to St George where she worked at NIF, The National Institute of Fitness, in Ivins UT, leading daily five mile fitness walks with clients.

She later moved to Hurricane UT and assisted her dear friends in their business of tuning pianos around the southern Utah area. She enjoyed living in a nice little home in Hurricane for a few years before multiple new health issues began to affect her life.

June moved to Keizer Oregon in about 2004 or 2005. In the beginning she worked in a care home, caring for elderly residents, until she finally needed to retire from employment altogether due to her continued declining health. She lived in Oregon for the last 18-19 years of her life.

In the final months of her life, she was blessed to have her sons, daughter and some of her grandchildren visit to express their love and appreciation to her for the life she lived and the good example she was for them. She held their love in her heart and carried it with her as she passed away on the afternoon of Aug 16, 2022. Her grandson Jeff, daughter Debbie, son in law Russ and her sister Rose Anne were nearby as she slipped quietly on to her next estate.

Her family members celebrate her relief and that she is finally free of the physical, emotional and mental hardships she endured throughout her lifetime.

We also celebrate and remember the many joys and happy times she experienced.

We remember & hold dear the good example she was and the influence of gentleness, love & forgiveness that she always inspired throughout our lives.

We now celebrate the great reunion she is surely enjoying with her loved ones that passed before and we celebrate that her sweet spirit is finally able to meet her Savior, Jesus Christ, face to face!

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Brent Dee Robison of St George, Utah, and two grandsons, Rusten and Ryan Muhlestein of Keizer, OR; brothers Dale Stevens, Donald Stevens, Leland Stevens, Raymond Stevens, Paul Stevens and Raphael Stevens; sisters Maralyn Stevens Greenhalgh and Sharen Stevens Wetzel.

She is survived by three children; Curtis J Robison of Las Vegas Nevada, Debra Ann Muhlestein (Russell) of Keizer OR and Ricky Lee Robison of Salt Lake City UT. Grandchildren; Jolene Robison (Kathryn), Jeffrey Muhlestein, Jason Muhlestein (Briana), Alissa Muhlestein, Jessica Robison Martin (Paul), Tana Robison Farr (Brian) and Cody Robison. Great grandchildren; Mace Farr, Gavin Farr, Corven Farr, Kynlee Martin, Abby Martin, and Anna June Muhlestein. Two brothers; Lowell W Stevens (Afton Bradley) of Farmington, UT and Easton K Stevens (Peggy Davenport) of North Salt Lake, UT and one sister, RoseAnne Stevens Crews (Edward) of Medford, OR.
