Judith Maralyn Massee

Judith Maralyn (Mogster) Massee, 84, passed away on April 6, 2025. She was born on July 18, 1940 in Phoenix, Arizona to Roy Mogster and Ouida Mogster. Judy lived in Phoenix with her family, including her brother Mel Mogster until April of 1951, when the family moved to the Keizer area to be closer to their extended family.

Judy attended Keizer Elementary School, Parrish Junior High and North Salem High School (Class of 1958). After graduation from high school, Judy attended both the University of Oregon and later earned her Bachelors Degree from Oregon College of Education (now Western Oregon University) in Education. Judy worked in a variety of career fields including teaching, insurance, hazelnut processing and farming.

Judy's family life included her three children: Paul, Aaron & Elizabeth. She loved all three of them and doted on them whenever possible. She is survived by her brother Mel Mogster, Paul Massee, Elizabeth Massee, Lynnea Lane (Daughter in Law), Marissa Lane-Massee (granddaughter) and Chris Lane-Massee (grandson).

A Celebration of Life will be held in Judy's honor on May 18 at 2pm, hosted at the Keizer Elks Lodge where she was a member in good standing. Arrangements are provided by Keizer Funeral Chapel.
