John "Jack" Calvin Guzman
December 29, 1947 - July 6, 2014
Jack Guzman 66, lost his fight with pancreatic cancer Sunday, July 6, 2014. Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Bolster until 1970. Jack retired from the State of Oregon December 1st, 2011. He loved camping on the Oregon coast, wintering and exploring in Arizona, and driving his classic Ford on sunny days. He loved good food, good wines and spending time with family and good friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Issac, and is survived by: his wife Karen, brother Robin, sister Debbie, children Christina, Del and Leslee, grandchildren Elizabeth, Brya, Bradley and Megan, and great grandchildren Jaelynn and Madilynn. Jack was a 'classy guy' who made friends easily wherever he went, he will be deeply missed. Visitation will be from 10a.m. to 2p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2014 and from 12p.m. to 3p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2014 with a Celebration of life to follow all at Keizer Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 4365 River RD N. Keizer, OR 97303.
