Janet Rose Overman

Janet Rose Overman 75, passed peacefully from this life on Friday March 29,2024. She was born in Salem Oregon on November 15,1948 to Junior Van and Norma Lee Carroll. Janet wed John Overman on December 15, 1967 and they have been blessed with more than 56 years of marriage.
Janet spent her life loving God, loving her family and caring for others. She loved to camp, fish and spend time in Central Oregon. She loved to go on “road trips” with her family and see new places. She loved to watch the ocean, whether it was in Hawaii or the beautiful Oregon coast.
She dedicated her life to serving others. She and John made their home a safe haven for many children and anyone in need.
She is survived by her husband, John Overman; her daughter Jenniffer and son in law Tod, her Daughter Joelle and son in law David, Her Brother Bruce and his wife Debra, 5 grandchildren and their spouses and 3 great grandchildren. Her legacy will continue on.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 20th at 11:00am at Market St. Church of Christ in Salem, Oregon.
