Born to Russell V. Cooper and Hazel H. McDowell on April 18, 1943 in Greencastle, Indiana. The true pleasures in her life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who lovingly referred to her as GG. She also had an extended family with the Elks and Willamette Valley Street Rods. She loved fishing, Bunco, pinochle, traveling and was an accomplished seamstress. She is survived by her husband Robert of 22 years of Salem, OR; daughter & son-in-law Matt and Carmela Hughes of Arlington, OR; daughter & son-in-law Melissa and John Loss of Keizer, OR; son & daughter-in-law Michael and Tara Page of Salem, OR; sisters Janette Wellman of Hermiston, OR, and Judy Hughes of Arlington, OR; and brother Ken Cooper of Arizona. She also has 4 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 4 great-grandsons and 1 great-great-granddaughter as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and -nephews. A viewing will be held from 10 am to 12 pm, Thurs., June 26, 2014, at Keizer Funeral Chapel, 4365 River Road N. Keizer, OR 97303. A Celebration of Life will be held following the viewing at Keizer Elks Lodge, 4250 Cherry Ave NE, Keizer, OR from 1 pm to 3 pm.
