Glen E. Hansen

Glen Emery Hansen June 16, 1922 - August 30, 2007 KEIZER - Loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Glen Hansen, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 30, 2007. He was born in Pennsylvania to parents Chris and Delia Hansen, and was proud of his Danish heritage. He served in the US Navy, then married the love of his life, Ruth, in California in 1948. He enjoyed woodworking and built many wooden toys for his grandchildren and children in his church. He liked to fish and travel Oregon with his boat and small travel trailer. He loved the old gospel hymns and piano music. Until the very end he enjoyed company, especially listening to visitors sing and read the Bible to him. Glen is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Chris wife, Jan, Katherine husband, Roger, and Marlene; nine grandchildren, Jason, Corey, Scott, Amy, Chad, Kari, Erin, Andria and Kimberly; and three great-grandchildren, Joshua, Tyler and Cammie. Special appreciation is expressed to Glen's other family - all the staff at Marquis Care Silver Gardens in Silverton. Glen was immensely blessed by the love, care, and respect they provided.
