Gary Dean Wilson

Gary Dean Wilson 68, lost his battle with cancer on July 15, 2013, at French Prairie Care Center in Woodburn, Oregon. He was born January 25, 1945 in Portland, Oregon to Merle and Lynn Wilson. He graduated from Salem Academy in 1963. Later, he served in the Army as a diesel generator mechanic. Gary loved flying his Kasper Wing Ultralight and boating on the river, which he lived near for most of his life, in Milwaukie, Oregon. He is remembered for his passion for being in the air or on the water. He loved to travel, enjoyed reading, and watching his hummingbirds. He was preceded in death by his father, Merle; and his younger brother Brian. Gary is survived by his mother, Lynn; brother, Bruce; sister, Carol Covington; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
