Fayes Marie Rogers

December 6, 1919 — September 9, 2014

She was born in Cedar County, Nebraska to parents Richard and Daisy Boetger. Fayes graduated from Gervais Union High School in 1937. She married Charles Rogers in 1942. She was a housewife and loved gardening, traveling to Europe and throughout the United States. Her greatest passion was her family and children. She was a seamstress, loved canning. Fayes enjoyed meeting for lunch at Shari's Restaurant with friends and children. She is survived by her son, James Rogers and his wife Marsha; a daughter, Deborah Closser and her husband Dan. She is survived by her 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Memorial Contributions may be given in her memory to Clear Lake United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Sat., Sept. 20, 2014 at Keizer Funeral Chapel, 4365 River Rd. N., Keizer, OR 97303. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Mortuary.
