Esther Mary Irwin

Esther Mary Irwin, 84, a resident of Keizer, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2012.
Esther was born in County Donegal, Ireland, in a family having 5 brothers and two sisters, on June 17, 1927.
Esther trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as her saviour at age 10. In January of 1947 she immigrated to the USA, living first in Long Beach, California, then to Seattle, Washington, then settling in Salem in 1978.
She married Albert Irwin in 1964 and had many friends in all parts of the world and was known for her kindness and hospitality. The last 34 years she met faithfully with the Christians at the Salem Gospel Hall.
Esther is survived by her brother, Samuel Gordon of Portland; sister Isabel Mulholland of Gaston, Oregon, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert.
Viewing/ visitation will be held at Keizer Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, January 11, from 12 pm until 5 pm. Funeral services will be held at Keizer Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 12, at 11 am, followed by burial at Claggett Cemetery in Keizer. Keizer Funeral Chapel entrusted with arrangements.
