Delores M. Clouse

Delores passed away peacefully the evening of March 9, 2014. She was 96.

Born in Arion, Iowa she was the eldest of seven. Upon her being graduated from high school. in Lakeview, Iowa in 1934, the family moved to Portland, Or. It was there she met and married Elmer Clouse. They were married 56 years until his death 1995. She always worked outside the home. Her last Employment was 27 years with the State of Oregon Employment Division.

Delores has left a daughter, Sharon (Donald) Albrich & a son, John E. (Lin) Clouse; grandsons John A. & David Clouse & Gregory (Lori) Neal; great-grandkids Michele Ann & Mia Clouse & Brandon, Cierra, & Alyssa Neal. She also leaves a sister & sister-in-law. Many nieces & nephews & their children.

She wanted to leave you with these thoughts;

"I'd like the memory of me to be
A happy one.
I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles
When life is done
I'd like to leave an echo whispering
Softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times
And bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve
To dry before the sun, of happy
Memories that I leave when life is done."
