David Alan Turner
December 6th, 1979- June 8th, 2015
Dave Turner, beloved Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, and athlete passed away at his home in Keizer, Oregon at the age of 35. Dave grew up in Tillamook, Oregon on a Dairy farm where his love for dirt bikes started at age 3. It only grew from there. He went on to compete doing Freestyle Motocross at the age of 19 traveling around the US. and inventing a trick called the Turn Table. In 2001 Dave had a bad crash, having his left leg amputated below the knee. But that didn't stop him from getting back on his bike. He went on to compete at X Games in 2010 in the adaptive class, again in 2013. He also competed in Adaptive SnoCross in 2011 and 2013 winning a Bronze medal that he was so proud of. After that Dave and his wife Tabitha purchased a house in Keizer, Oregon in 2013 and settled in with their two dogs that Dave loved tremendously, TAJ and Daisy. Dave decided that he didn't want to work in construction anymore and that he wanted to start his own business. So he did. In 2014 Dave started Turner Transport, LLC hauling cars and trailers. Dave was very much looking forward to the arrival of his son Tred Turner in August. Dave has such passion for everyone in his life and everything that he did. He was loved by so many.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents Dale and Helen Turner, Harold and Hazel Clark. Surviving David are his Wife Tabitha Turner, unborn Son Tred Turner, dogs, TAJ and Daisy, Daughter Brynn, Parents Mother, Eileen Clark, Father, Jack Turner, step-mother Gayle Turner, Sisters Billie Lea (Mike) Guthrie, Danielle (Lee) Bingman, Nieces Katelin, Rachel, Brooke, Madison, Chloe and Sophie, Nephews Cayden and Weston, and numerous friends made throughout the years. Services will be held at Albany Motocross track 33648 Berry Dr NE Albany, Oregon 97322 June 22nd 2015 at 1pm In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated
