Dale Ellsworth Harwood, 79 of Philomath passed away January 4, 2016 after a long fight with cancer at Good Samaritan Hospital with his wife Ruth by his side.
Dale was born April 8,1936 in Neodesha Kansas to Louie and Alice Harwood.
Dale Married Ruth Bundy on October 16, 1954 in Bartleville, Oklahoma. They had 3 sons and 2 daughters. They moved to Philomath Oregon in 1966. Dale is proceeded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, 3 sisters, daughter Sandy and daughter in law Fay.
He is survived by sons Bob (Kathi), Mark (Lorie), Steve Harwood of Philomath, daughter Betty of Corvallis, 16 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren.
Dale loved the outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing and being with his family.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
