Cecil Dwayne Mcelhaney

Cecil was born in McCallister, Oklahoma on August 3, 1960. He moved to Hanford, California with his parents, Don and Joyce Knight, and attended Hanford High School where he graduated in 1978. Cecil worked at a textile factory as a mechanic until he moved to Oregon in 1989. While he was working at Sears as a service technician in 1990, he met his wife Michelle and they were married on June 20, 1992. They had two girls, Marissa (age 15) and Carly (age 10), whom he adored.
Cecil was a top service technician, a perfectionist, a hard worker, and capable of fixing anything under the sun. He was always willing to help friends and family, he was a wonderful father and friend. His hobbies included fishing, running, working out, and reading.
Cecil is survived by his parents Don and Joyce Knight, wife Michelle McElhaney, daughters Marissa and Carly, sister Brenda Richards, brother Buddy Knight, niece Erin Richards, and nephews; Ben Richards, Shane Knight, Chad Knight.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a celebration of Cecil's life on Friday, 12-7, at 3:30pm at Keizer Funeral Chapel.
