Bruce Leon Adams

Bruce L. Adams passed away peacefully in his sleep early Sunday, August 23, 2020, after a brief encounter with metastatic cancer. Graduated from Salem High School and served in the Army. He worked for the State of Oregon at the State Hospital as a Psychiatric Aide in Criminally Insane Ward.  Bruce looked forward to attending the Oregon State Fair each year. He submitted artwork and won prizes, but also enjoy visiting the tie-dye booths and food booths. Bruce could tell a story or joke to make anyone laugh. He loved his family.Survived by his wife, Sandra, brothers Brian and Brent, son Scott, grandson Caleb Burks, granddaughter Sierra Neville and two great-grandsons. He will miss meeting a great-granddaughter in November. He is preceded in death by his older brother Brady, and daughter Kimberly. There are many cousins and friends who will miss him as much as immediate family will.According to his wishes, there will be no service.
