Brent Erlan Jones
January 13, 1944 — January 20, 2021
Brent E Jones Sr. passed away peacefully January 20th 2021 at the age of 77 at Regency Woodland in South Salem OR, with his wife Diane by his side. Born January 13th 1944 to Ernie and Dorothy Jones in Tempe AZ and later moving to Yakima WA, where he attended Eisenhower High School.
Brent worked in Retail Management for many years moving from Yakima to Oregon in 1994 until his retirement in 2010.
After retiring he and Diane traveled around to many states enjoying their time together. Brent especially enjoyed their time spent up and down the Oregon Coast and his very favorite place Depoe Bay! He always had his camera ready and waiting to catch those beautiful sunsets. Other hobbies Brent loved included hunting and finding a beautiful Fly fishing spot.
Diane and family would like to give a special Thanks to the staff at Regency Woodland and Hospice Traditions Healthcare for the wonderful care they gave to Brent during his last days and the kindness and compassion they showed Diane during this difficult time.
Brent was preceded in death by his parents, Son Ronald, Sister Wanda, Brother Allen, Stepfather Jerry, Stepmother Lucielle, Grandsons, Ronnie and Alex & Father-in-law Don Shaver.
Brent is Survived by his wife of 31 years Diane Jones, stepdaughter Candi Todd, Sons Brent E Jones Jr. (wife Janet), Gary Jones (wife Sherri), Andrew Jones (wife Kirsten), Sister Linda, Nephew Ron, Mother-in-Law Barbara, 11 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren.
A Celebration of life will be held later this year at the Oregon Coast! FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS Gone, yet not forgotten Although we are apart Your spirit lives within us Forever in our hearts
