Boni Lou Ago

Boni Drago died of cancer on July 1st in Salem, Oregon at age 53. She was born on August 16th, 1960 in Havre, Montana, the youngest of five children. She leaves behind her mother, Ramona, stepfather Ron, and her sisters Brenda, Bev and Barb. Boni is preceded in death by her father, Harold, and her brother Brad.
Also remembering Boni will be her seven children: Matt, Josie, Echo, Luke, Mark, Micah and Mikina, for whom her love and care never wavered.
In her 40s with four young children still living at home, Boni began taking classes to become a nurse while working full-time at a care giving job. At 46 she became a licensed registered nurse and began working at the Samaritan Hospital in Newport, OR where she spent the next six years. Recently, she moved to Salem and began working as a mental health RN. She influenced both patients and co-workers as well as the lives of those she encountered everyday.
Boni was known for her optimistic spirit, kindness toward others, and an undying dedication to her family.
Her memorial will be held on August 16th, 2014 at her home in Salem.
