Alma 'Pepa' Garcia Martinez May 7, 1993 - January 8, 2008 Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. ~ 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 Alma was am exemplary daughter; she loved us with her whole heart. She was a blessing from God. We know that she has changed many people's lives. Alma taught her cousins, family, friends, and every life she touched how to love one another and be humble. Since she was born, she aimed to live eternal life in Heaven. Alma was loved by her brother, Jose Garcia Martinez; mother, Alma Martinez; father, Neftali Garcia Mendez; and many family, friends, and community members. We know that her physical body will no longer be with us, but that her spirit and memory will live in our hearts until we see her again. Alma not only smiled with her mouth, but also with her eyes and heart. We look forward to seeing her smile again. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 11 and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, January 12 at Keizer Funeral Chapel. Services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, January 12 at McNary High School Auditorium.
