Robert M. Maley

July 5, 1952 — January 11, 2023

Bob (Pappa Bobby) Maley of Salem, Oregon, died at the age of 70 on January 11,
2023 after a short battle with Leukemia.
Bob was born in Waterville, Maine on July 5, 1952, to Richard and Jean Maley.
Then came along two younger siblings, Gloria and Tom.
The family moved around numerous times in the New England states before
settling in Oregon.
Bob graduated from Lake Oswego High, then attended college at Boise College
where he received his Associate in Marketing. After college, he began his career
in retail. He ended his career at his dream job at Carhartt. Bob was not just a
great manager but also a friend to all his team and colleges.
His passions were snow skiing, golf, fishing, hunting, camping and he loved
watching his Seahawks.
Bob married Valerie Jordan on March 17 th , 1973. They had three children, Chad,
Nicci and Rick.
Bob married Mary Richter on May 5 th , 1995, and became pappa bobby to Mary’s
children Angela and Justin. All these children blessed Bob with grandchildren
Bubba, Toryn, and Brayden; Ashely, Trenton and Emily, Ellie and Ryder. And
some of these grandchildren blessed Pappa Bobby with great grandchildren
Autumn, Jaxon, Kane, and Dawson.
Bob will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Donations can be made to the Cancer Society or the American Red Cross.
Our remembrance of Life will be held on March 4, 2023 at the Elks in Keizer, OR
from 1 pm – 4 pm. We will be serving Bob’s favorite foods.
