Dennis Steven Bennett was born in Fairbanks, Alaska on October 22, 1952 to parents James Eldon and Joan Mary. He was reborn as a child of God in the waters of Holy Baptism on November 23, 1952. On March 24, 1963 he was confirmed in the Christian faith and was fed the life-giving body and blood of Jesus. He was united in holy marriage to Pamela Self on October 1, 1994 and blessed with 26 years of married life together.
God also blessed them with the gift of a child, Kaitlan Joan. He graduated from Cascade High School, class of 1970, and as a barber from College of Hair Design (1995), and worked as a barber in his own barber shop until his retirement in 2017. His hobbies included Studebaker restoration, gold prospecting, and games with family.
On November 1, 2020 God called Dennis home to heaven. He is survived by his brother James (Kathy), wife Pam, daughter Kaitlan (Pierce), two granddaughters, as well as nieces and nephews. A graveside prayer, and the burial, is scheduled for November 9, 11:00 am, at City View Cemetery. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.
